This project evolved while playing with some small pieces of laminate samples and enjoying the overlapping colorful effect. That led to a quick sketch which led to further computer dimensioning. The bass wood frame required a unique jig to be built to hold the bass wood pieces to run them through the planer to create the wide bevel effect.
